Buena Vista Recreation is excited to be partnering with Achieve, Inc to offer stand-alone Achieve Social programs targeted towards individuals with neurodivergencies (such as autism spectrum/ADD/ADHD and similar disabilities) and mental health challenges. The outings will provide participants an opportunity to hone their communication and teamwork skills and help build confidence. The overall program goal is to build social and cognitive skills within program participants.

This program provides events/activities/outings appropriate for neuro-diverse people ages 14-25. Activities will also include at least 1 support staff for every 3 participants. If participants require more one-on-one assistance, they will need to provide their own volunteer/mentor to assist them during the outing. Each attendee needs to register separately to ensure enough spaces are reserved. Registration is open to the above mentioned target participants, any friends/family members of target participants, and volunteers/mentors.

If you have any questions or if participants need assistance with transportation to and from the Buena Vista Community Center, please contact Danielle Brown, Programming Assistant of Achieve Inc., at danielle@achievelifeskills.org or (970) 209-2976.

If participants are interested in financial assistance, scholarships are available! Please visit www.buenavistarec.com/scholarships/ for more information and to apply.
