Registration will go live on Wednesday, December 11th at 12:00pm (noon). Spots will fill up fast, so don’t hesitate to sign up!
Scholarships are available! The BV Recreation Scholarship Fund helps support community members, regardless of financial situation, by giving them the ability to participate in BV Recreation programs at no cost. Please apply for a scholarship today by following this link and submitting the online form!
Join experienced instructors from Buena Vista Mountain Adventures for the Youth Cross Country Ski League! Whether you’re new to the idea, or an experienced skier, come and join the fun of Cross Country Skiing!
Gear Rental is available for an additional $25, in a limited supply. After registering, we will reach out to parents that have requested to rent gear to set up a time to fit your children for their gear. Gear pickup days will be Thursday, January 23rd and Friday, January 24th. The Youth Cross Country Ski League Banquet will be held at the Community Center after the last day of skiing – Date TBD
*Please note that we are limited to a max of 35 participants in the program due to a limited number of coaches. Participants are encouraged to sign up for the Waiting List if the program is full. Participants will be added to the program if more coaches for the program are found. Please contact Tucker Wildeson at 719-581-1051 or twildeson@buenavistaco.gov if you are interested in coaching.
A volunteer coaches meeting will take place on Tuesday, January 21st at 6:30pm at the BV Community Center (715 E Main St). We highly encourage all volunteer coaches to attend this meeting, if possible. We will cover important information regarding the program to set you up for success as a cross-country ski coach. There will also be an optional field training for volunteer coaches on Saturday, January 25th at 1:00pm at the Collegiate Peaks Campground.
