Achieve Social: Mini Horse Obstacle Course

Buena Vista Recreation partners with Achieve, Inc. to provide programming for neurodiverse individuals (such as those on the autism spectrum or with ADD/ADHD). This program is designed for teens and young adults, ages 14-25, in Chaffee County and nearby areas.

Program Goals:

• Improve communication and teamwork skills
• Build confidence
• Develop social and cognitive skills

Details:

• Activities and outings will have a ratio of 1 support staff for every 3 participants.
• If more one-on-one help is needed, participants must bring their own volunteer or mentor.
• Separate registration is required for each participant to ensure space availability.

Mini Horse Obstacle Course: Please arrive at Mini Blessings, located at 15732 CR 306, Buena Vista, CO, on Saturday, October 12th at 12:30pm for Equine-Assisted Learning & Activities (EALA) with friends.
